The memories of Guiga, from early childhood to young adulthood: his family, relatives, friends, fears,
dreams and reality in a still provincial city of Salvador, Bahia, from the 50s to the 70s.
From a period of military dictatorship to the 60's free love / drug era,
we watch Guiga grow up (along with his two older brothers) and discover love and sex,
while holding a resentment of his father who he blames for his mother's unhappiness and death.
